Sonja R. Evans, D.M.D., M.S.

Dr. Evans grew up in the Pacific Northwest and graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in molecular and cellular biology. She earned her D.M.D. degree from Boston University, graduating magna cum laude, followed by the completion of a general practice residency in Bangor, ME. She began her dental career as the dental director of a community health center in Harrington, ME and practiced general dentistry for four years in downeast Maine. Realizing her passion for endodontics, she earned her M.S. degree and certificate in endodontics from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Evans is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists, where she currently serves on the Practice Affairs committee. She is board-eligible and currently working towards her board certification. Outside of endodontics, Dr. Evans enjoys hiking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
