Andrew L. Shur, D.M.D.
Dr. Shur is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and has been with Endodontic Associates, P.A. since 2002. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University in 1995, and his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1999. He completed a general practice residency in 2000 at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Shur earned his specialty certificate in endodontics in 2002 following residency at the University of Michigan Dental School.
He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, Greater Portland Dental Society (past-president 2005-2006), and Spear Study Club. Dr. Shur is a founding fellow in the International Academy of Endodontics and has served on the Executive Council as well as chair of the Admissions Committee. He is also a member of the International College of Dentists. Dr. Shur has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine since 2014 where he continues to teach clinical endodontics. He is also a contributing author for the textbooks “Best Practices in Endodontics, a Desk Reference,” published by Quintessence in 2015 and Clinical Cases in Endodontics published by Wiley-Blackwell in 2018.
